Ben Darby, MD After graduating from LaGrange High School and McNeese State University, Dr. Darby received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his Internship and Residency at Charity Hospital, also in New Orleans. Dr. Darby is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Darby founded OBG-1 in 1978 with the opening of his Sulphur office. Scott Bergstedt, MD A graduate of St. Louis High School, Dr. Bergstedt received a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center and completed his residency and internship there as well. Dr. Berstedt is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Bergstedt joined OBG-1 in 1995.
