Our midwives see patients for prenatal visits and deliveries as well as well-women services such as annual exams, family planning and birth control. They practice with the cooperation and full resources of the physician team of OBG-1. Bonnie Leger, CNM Bonnie Leger, certified nurse midwife, graduated from Bell City High School, received her bachelor of science in nursing from McNeese State University and her masters in nursing with a focus on midwifery from the East Carolina University School of Midwifery. She is certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She joined OBG-1 in 2007. Allison Hansen, CNM Allison Hansen, certified nurse midwife, graduated from LSU School of Nursing and received her master of science in nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She joined OBG-1 as a nurse in 2006 and became a certified nurse midwife in 2009.
